Currently the band is working on their contest show! Things are going great and if things go as planned the band will attend a marching festival in Abilene, TX on October 2, 1999.
from Everyone come out to support the band as they perform Friday nights at the football games!

The QHS band has had many good changes so far this year. We were introduced to our wonderful band director Marilyn Burgess! She previously taught band at Eden, TX. She then moved back to her hometown of Quanah.

GENERAL INFORMATION

    The QHS band currently has 63 members, and going strong! This group has made many improvements over the last month! They are under the field direction of senior head drum major Amber Fontenot and junior assistant drum major Misti Waldo.
